Swimming Pool & Pool House
The large outdoor solar heated swimming pool is available for use on
weekdays from June, July, August and early September (weather dependent). The pool house is a
wonderful place to spend time. With views out over the countryside
towards St Erth village, tables and chairs,
and a toilet and shower, you have everything you need for
a relaxing afternoon. Fresh ground coffee, tea and soft drinks are available daily in the pool house (honesty system).
Indeed, many of our guests often choose to spend a whole hot sunny day reclining on our luxury loungers
beside the pool.
Next to the swimming pool a large, level area of garden for
our guests to use. Formerly a grass badminton court it is
ideally suited to garden games or simply soaking up the sun. We provide a number of
games for you and your kids to enjoy in this space.
All our guests are welcome to use the games room – one
of the restored barns that contains a table tennis table and
a fun-size snooker table, perfect distraction and relaxation.
Barbeque equipment is available for you to borrow. All our cottages have
their own area with outdoor tables and chairs to enjoy that late
evening barbeque and glass of wine as the sun sets.

West Cornwall is nothing short of paradise for walkers and hikers. Few walks in the Country can be more more stunning than the National Trust protected costal pathway that runs all the way along the Cornish coast. Towering cliffs, hidden coves, secret beaches and wild moorland are located only minutes from Trewinnard Holiday Cottages. Zennor on the North coast is about 15 minutes away; Prussia Cove and Perranuthnoe on the South Coast even less. These walks are especially enjoyable in the Spring and Autumn when the cottages are all available at low season rates. Not to be forgotten either is that the boundary of Trewinnard runs along the River Hayle which is a County wildlife site of great interest.
